Our Chiropractor in Canberra (Crace)

Dr. Garo Betchakjian
Chiropractor
Dr Garo Betchakjian has been practising at Chiropractic Life Crace for over two years, delivering holistic, evidence-based chiropractic care with a strong focus on long-term health and structural stability. He is dedicated to helping individuals enhance their overall wellbeing and confidently navigate life’s physical and emotional demands.
Garo completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney after five years of intensive study. Graduating among the top of his cohort in both degrees, his academic excellence earned him a prestigious Commonwealth-supported place in his master’s program.
Alongside his clinical work, Garo has over four years of teaching experience as a casual academic in the Department of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. During this time, he taught undergraduate anatomy, including histology and musculoskeletal cadaver studies, further deepening his understanding of human structure and function.
Garo specialises in neuro-structural corrective adjustments with an emphasis on long-term structural correction rather than short-term symptom relief. His adjusting style incorporates a range of techniques, including Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP), Thompson Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), and Syntropy. This diverse skill set allows him to tailor care plans to each individual’s goals and lifestyle.
Beyond the clinic, Garo is passionate about giving back. For the past three years, he has participated in annual Chiropractic Medical Mission Trips to the Philippines, with a fourth trip planned for 2026. Through the charity Giving Health, he collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide essential medical and chiropractic care to underserved communities in the slums of Manila.
Outside of practice, Garo is an avid rock climber with a particular passion for indoor bouldering. Climbing keeps him physically strong while sharpening his focus and problem-solving skills—qualities he brings into his approach to chiropractic care.
