Growing up in Western Victoria in a small country town called Casterton, most well known for being the home of the Kelpie working dog. Adam always had a keen interest in well everything really!

A sponge for knowledge! With a passion for health, fitness and sport this led to so many opportunities in his younger years. Adam was found representing his schools and town in many state and national sporting and academic events. His true passion was AFL footy at this stage. Later Adam moved to boarding school at Ballarat and Clarendon College for 2 years to follow his football dream.

Before heading off to boarding school Adam embarked on a journey to complete work experience with Dr Andrew Kerr in Adelaide. Andrew became Adam’s mentor after seeing so many people entre the practice to be adjusted and leaving with a big smile and greater health.

Graduating with a Bachelor and Masters of Chiropractic with honours and winning the clinical excellence award Dr Adam has never looked back and has had many successful practices. Through the practices Adam has been able to help many people achieve health and see the world in a different way.

Adam is now coaching and mentoring other Chiropractors on how to serve their communities on better health. Dr Adam has a passion for seeing families; especially children, mothers and babies he made the call to travel to Melbourne 18 long weekends over 2 years to do a Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics and now has a practice with so many mums and babies achieving better health!

Currently Dr Adams projects on top of full-time practice include getting Chiropractic to regional and remote areas. And is looking to team with the government and Menzies school of health to do a research project on Chiropractic and Otitis Media in Indigenous Communities! As well as being a Dad to his pride and joy Olivia and husband to his rock and best friend Emily who make all of this possible.

My chiropractic journey started at 6 weeks of age after a traumatic start to life being in and out of the hospital. I was operated on at one week old. My mother was sent home with a very unsettled and irritable baby. After many sleepless nights, my mother was recommended to go and have me checked by a chiropractor in town, Dr. Peter Davis. After being checked and adjusted by Dr. Peter my parents finally got their first night of full sleep. My mother told me at that point that I was going to be a chiropractor when I grew up, and from there my destiny was set.

Throughout my childhood, my whole family were regularly checked and adjusted by Dr. Peter, which allowed us to grow into healthy and strong adults.

As soon as I completed high school, I was off to university to begin my chiropractic education. I graduated Masters of Clinical Chiropractic with Distinction in 2014.

Whilst studying in Melbourne I met my to-be wife Imogen, a registered Occupational Therapist, at the Latrobe University Football Club. Upon my graduation, we decided to chase the sunshine and relocated to Townsville where I began my practicing career.

After 2 amazing years in North QLD, an opportunity arose for us to return home to South West Victoria. I began working in the practice I was checked and adjusted in growing up. Whilst there, I was very fortunate to work with many growing families and have a big impact on the local community of Warrnambool. Through this, my wife was inspired to become a chiropractor herself and has been accepted into the Australian Chiropractic College in Adelaide to begin her chiropractic journey this year! This has been the catalyst for our move to South Australia and our new adventure to serve the people of Victor Harbor.

Growing up under chiropractic care has shaped the importance I place around health, and greatly inspired me to help every individual to achieve their maximal potential for life. For me, Chiropractic has never been simply about back pain, neck pain, and headaches. It’s been about maintaining balance and harmony within the spine and nervous system, removing stress from the body, and allowing the innate intelligence within to heal, regulate and thrive. When this happens not only do aches and pains go away, but you can live your best life!

Dr Aaron Stewart (chiropractor) is a graduate from RMIT University in Victoria, completing his Masters in Clinical Chiropractic and graduating with distinction.

Aaron is passionate about getting people healthier and functioning at their absolute best. It was this that saw him observe a number of different health professionals in South West Victoria as a teenager and eventually it was a no brainer that a Doctor of Chiropractic was the way to go!

What makes Aaron the happiest is seeing so many people able to do the things they love doing without any pain or symptoms and being the best version of themselves that they can be.

It is not only Aaron’s passion for Chiropractic care, but also both nutrition and exercise that puts him in a position to provide people with the most optimum overall results.

Aaron has worked with newborns right up to his oldest ever practice member at 99 years young and believes everyone can benefit from specific neuro-structual chiropractic care.

Dr Aaron is a current member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia, The Gonstead Chiropractic Society of Australia and the Australia Health Practitioners Registration Agency.
